Simple test could identify prostate cancer risk 15 years before diagnosis

Oxford researchers identified blood proteins that were linked to prostate cancer more than 15 years before diagnosis. The findings could help in the future to tailor monitoring to individual risk. Dr. Miki Hepler from the Meir Medical Center said: "For people found to be at high risk, it may be possible to conduct screening tests more frequently, in order to try to detect the cancer from its onset."
