One mammogram, two diagnoses: AI identifies heart disease in women in a simple test

A new study at Sheba, which analyzed data from about 30,000 women, shows that an AI-based algorithm was able to extract early information about ischemic heart disease, hypertension, and stroke from routine mammogram images — without the need for additional imaging.
