On the Path to Approval: FDA Panel Supports Blood Test to Detect Over 50 Types of Cancer

Seven of the ten members of the FDA advisory expert panel recommended the Galleri test for those aged 50 and older, but the question of its effectiveness remained closely scrutinized. When the test flags a result, cancer is indeed found in most cases, but some tumors evade it. In Israel it is already available privately, at 4,200 shekels.
