New Study: Technology Allows Safe Yom Kippur Fasting for Young Diabetes Patients

A new study finds that the use of automated insulin pumps enables many type 1 diabetes patients to fast safely. It was found that throughout the fast no life‑threatening complications were recorded and that more than 70% of participants completed the fast without significant complications.
